The fragrance recreates the memory of sipping hibiscus tea in the heart of a gemstone market—a sensory encounter filled with glowing red colour, dark fruit, crystalline freshness, warm spices, and the smooth texture of vanilla and leather.
Launched in 2021 and created in collaboration with perfumer Quentin Bisch, Hibiscus MahaJád was Maison Crivelli’s first Extrait de Parfum. The name combines Maha, meaning “noble” in Sanskrit, with the jade gemstone.
Top Notes
The fragrance opens with juicy blackcurrant, refreshing spearmint, and warm cinnamon.
Blackcurrant creates a dark yet luminous fruity character, while spearmint provides cool, transparent freshness. Cinnamon introduces warm powdery spice and subtly prepares the composition for its floral heart and leather base.

At the heart of Hibiscus MahaJád, a flamboyant hibiscus accord meets Damask rose absolute and the smooth, musky texture of ambrette seeds.
Hibiscus creates a vivid red, tea-inspired fruitiness, while Damask rose contributes rich velvety floral depth. Ambrette softens the composition with a delicate plant-based musk character.

The composition settles into Vanilla Absolute, leather, musk, and warm amber-balsamic nuances.
