Marc-Antoine Barrois Tilia Eau de Parfum 100 ml – The Scent of Happy Days
Discover Tilia by Marc-Antoine Barrois, a Unisex Eau de Parfum celebrating light, flowers, and simple moments of happiness. Luminous linden blossom, jasmine sambac, and broom unfold into a soft floral heart, while vetiver and contemporary amber woods give the composition depth and structure.
Marc-Antoine Barrois describes Tilia as the scent of happy days, like the dream of a summer that lasts forever. It evokes endless holidays, long lunches with friends in the countryside, the shade of a large tree, flowers in bloom, and white linen drying in the breeze. Tilia is also the first fragrance in an imagined constellation of floral creations.
Launched on April 1, 2024, Tilia was created by perfumer Quentin Bisch, who imagined it as a luminous walk beneath flowering linden trees, combining airy white florals with honeyed, comforting nuances. The house confirms that the fragrance has never been reformulated since its launch.
Top Notes
The fragrance opens with linden blossom, jasmine sambac, and broom.
Linden blossom brings tender green, pollen-like, and honeyed facets. Broom adds warm apricot and honey nuances, while jasmine sambac enriches the opening with a velvety white-floral texture.
Heart Notes
At the heart of Tilia, orange blossom meets heliotrope and vetiver.
Orange blossom adds luminous white-floral radiance, while heliotrope creates a soft powdery texture. Vetiver provides an earthy, slightly smoky counterpoint beneath the floral bouquet, adding depth and contrast to the fragrance’s sunny character.
Base Notes
The composition settles into Ambrofix and Georgywood.
Georgywood contributes a clean, contemporary woody character, while Ambrofix creates warm amber radiance that supports the floral notes and gives the dry-down a smooth, modern finish.
