Omanluxury created Hommage 1744 as an olfactory tribute to a defining moment in Omani history: the founding of the Al Busaid state by Imam Ahmed bin Said in 1744. The fragrance reimagines the timeless heritage of natural oud through a polished contemporary composition.
The fragrance was developed over two years using advanced Headspace technology to study and capture the natural aroma of agarwood with remarkable precision. The result presents oud with smoky nuances, restrained sweetness, and profound woody depth while maintaining clarity and refinement.
The current commercial edition of Hommage 1744 launched in 2026 and was created by perfumer Théo Belmas. It is classified as an Oriental Woody Unisex fragrance. A highly limited edition had previously appeared in Oman in late 2025 before the broader 2026 release.
