Master Perfumer Dominique Ropion explains that he wanted to emphasise the leathery facet naturally found in vanilla and contrast it with the ingredient's creamy, warm and sensual gourmand character. Exotic spices and sizzling resins reinforce the suede effect, giving Babycat its distinctive raw elegance.
The fragrance takes its inspiration from Yves Saint Laurent's enduring Babycat leopard print, an emblem of untamed glamour, independence and sensual power within the house's visual language.
