Discover Tuxedo Sharp Patchouli by Yves Saint Laurent, a Unisex Eau de Parfum from Le Vestiaire des Parfums, inspired by the Maison's iconic tuxedo and built around a sharply tailored Patchouli Heart with pepper, coriander, rose, ambergris and Bourbon vanilla.
The fragrance opens with Violet Leaf Accord, Bergamot Oil and Coriander Seeds Oil, revealing a heart of Rose Oil, Lily of the Valley Accord and Black Pepper Oil, before settling over Ambergris Accord, Patchouli Heart and Bourbon Vanilla.
YSL reimagines the classic chypre structure with a contemporary edge. Black pepper and coriander create the olfactory equivalent of a satin lapel against matte grain de poudre fabric, while ambergris adds sensual warmth beneath the dark, earthy patchouli structure.
Created by perfumer Juliette Karagueuzoglou, the original Tuxedo launched in 2015 as part of the debut Le Vestiaire des Parfums collection. YSL later reintroduced the fragrance under the Tuxedo Sharp Patchouli presentation in 2025, retaining the same core olfactory structure.
